index contains all of the names that appear throughout the pages of
selected Alberta local history books held in Edmonton by the Alberta
Genealogical Society and the AGS Edmonton Branch library. Thus it
captures the names of people, organizations and places that are
mentioned in books which previously had no index at all, as well as
those that are buried in the stories of neighbours and therefore may
not have appeared in any previous book index.
